I am writing to thank you for the organ donation from your loved one. I am very sorry for your loss, and I want you to know that your gift has given me a chance to live a normal, productive life. I needed a transplant because I was on home dialysis for 5 years having to be connected every night to a machine for 9 hours.
Since the transplant, I have been able to be more active and less tired and have more energy to play with my daughter.You and your loved one made it possible for me to experience a better life. I get to enjoy going out to far places with family without having to worry about not being able to go anywhere because I would have to be connected before bedtime every night.
For this I am very grateful to you and your loved one. My family and I will always remember your act of kindness and generosity. I will cherish my gift for the rest of my life. They’re in good hands.
