I needed a transplant because I had a kidney disease due to high blood pressure.

Since the transplant, I have been able to control my blood pressure and go to the restroom again. I also have energy to interact with my 7 year old and 11 year old daughters. You and your loved one made it possible for me experience a normal life.

Dear Donor Family, Earlier this year, I received a liver transplant, a gift of life from you and your loved one. My liver failed suddenly a week or so earlier, for reasons that are still unknown. I was a few hours from death when my family was notified that a liver was available.

Hello, I wanted to write to you to say thank you for the kidney and pancreas that was donated by your loved one. When I heard how young they were it broke my heart and I felt very sad for them and for you but because of their donation, I have been given a second chance and there is no way I can say thank you enough.

I am 41 and was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 20 years old. Living with diabetes was very hard at first but you get used to it after 21 years. A little over a year ago I was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure due to my diabetes and had to be put on dialysis almost immediately.
