“I don’t know how I can thank you and your family for this second chance”

Dear Donor Family

I am writing this letter, to thank you for the gift I received from your loved one last year. My transplant date will be a day that I will cherish, and never forget as long as I live.

I was at the point where my liver was getting ready to fail, when I was put on the transplant list. I was told that there is no specific time or date that one will be available. But I kept my hope and trust in the Lord, and asked him to give me strength and patience as I waited for a donors liver.

I don’t know how I can thank you and your family for this second chance, with this gift I am now able to see my grandkids grow up along with my own son & three daughters, I am also able to continue my relationship with God and help share his word with others and for that I am forever grateful.

I have prayed for you and have asked God to bless your family, I am truly sorry for the loss of your loved one.

Thank you, R.R.
