“Before my transplant, I felt weak, tired, and couldn’t walk far or even climb the stairs.”

To whom it may concern

Hi my name is B. I am writing this letter to thank you for the Kidney donation that I received from your loved one. First of all, I’m sorry for your loss. I would like to send my condolences out to you and your family and I want you to know that your gift has given me a chance to live a normal productive life.

Since the transplant, I feel much better. Before my transplant, I felt weak, tired, and couldn’t walk far or even climb the stairs. I would be out of breath. I had a Kidney transplant back in 2015 but it didn’t last long so I had to go back on dialysis. It was hard for me to start dialysis again but I needed it so I may be with my family and to see my grandkids grow up and graduate from school.

God has giving me a second chance in life. I was blessed to even receive this Kidney so fast. I had my kids and even my granddaughter praying over me, she would come upstairs to my bedroom and pray over me. So when I was notified that I might have a match I told my granddaughter, who is only 5 years old, I thank her for all her prayers and that God had answered her prayer.

My experience at my hospital was extremely excellent and they took really good care of me. My son came up to be my care giver to take me to all my Doctors appointments, Lab work at least twice a week. The Doctor said that I received a very good Kidney and I’m very happy to hear that. I will cherish my gift for the rest of my life.

Again Thank You very much my deepest respect for your loved one’s Kidney

B.
