Thank you for saving my life. My family and I cannot thank you enough for this act of kindness from you and your loved one. My liver transplant was in February 2013. My illness was advanced and cancerous and very critical.

It has taken me this long to cope with survivor’s guilt and to write to thank you for my gift of life. The information we were given about the donation was very limited but I am sincerely grateful. I am doing very well, the doctors are pleased with my stage of recovery. So far, there is no trace of any cancer or body rejection.

I am a mother, wife and grandmother and live in Northern California. My family has supported me beyond any expectations throughout this whole process. I appreciate their efforts and hardships they endured to be by my side daily while I was in the hospital. My loving husband has been a wonderful and patient care-giver.

I appreciate life to the fullest and can now do all the things I have not taken the time to enjoy because of my busy work schedule. I am so grateful to have seen my youngest son get married and start a new life while I was starting mine.

What a generous medical miracle this is. Life is so fragile and I am so grateful for each day so I may help others however I can. Please contact me if you ever feel the need. Thank you!
